Spread the Word Music Festival is thrilled to announce the 5th annual extravaganza happening May 5th – 8th in downtown Denver, CO. Four days, 60+ bands, 10 stages! The festival will feature a party shuttle that provides free transportation between downtown venues including Mile High Spirits, Cervantes, Mercury Cafe, Tony P’s & Pearl’s. Mark your calendars and get ready for an epic weekend!

Project Pabst, the traveling music festival put on by Pabst Blue Ribbon, is coming back for another round. Denver will return as a host to the event in 2017, RiNo Art District executive director Jamie Licko confirmed. The day-long festival will once again take over the 2700 block of Larimer Street, with additional stages inside the Larimer Lounge and Meadowlark Kitchen, according to one of the festival’s organizers. The swanky new Denver Central Market will host a launch party and an afterparty for the event.

The free festival takes place the third Saturday of May and celebrates the history of Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. Once known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs which played host to many of jazz music’s legends such as Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, and many more. Since its inception in 2004, the Five Points Jazz Festival has grown each year in size and popularity.

Denver Day of Rock is a one-day music festival benefiting the work of Amp the Cause. This free event features five stages of live music along Denver’s 16th Street Mall on Memorial Day weekend. Denver Day of Rock unites the community through music and family friendly entertainment while also raising funds to help Amp the Cause continue to support non-profits in our community.

The Greeley Blues Jam is a family oriented atmosphere where everyone can expect to enjoy a wonderful Blues experience! The Blues 101 Stage gives kids of all ages the opportunity to learn about the music which is the foundation for most of our pop music, and to see some of the most talented young blues performers from Colorado and around the country. Be sure to catch the Friday pre-festival activities in Historic Downtown Greeley. Expect great food and drink, merchandise vendors, and music that will put a smile on your face and get your feet moving!

Sonic Bloom is an inspiring showcase of the best of Colorado’s vibrant live and electronic music scene, and is at the forefront of the trans-formative festival movement. It’s an annual electronic dance music festival held over the Summer Solstice and offers an array of daily classes and activities to educate people of all ages, packed with diverse speakers and workshops to enhance the creative and physical well-being of festival goers. Yoga, meditation, science, dance, massage, art, performance, and sound healing to expand the experience and practices of the participants.

Every June, festival goers and musicians make the pilgrimage to the historic town of Telluride for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. The 44th Annual festival promises a magical four days of only-in-Telluride performances. Beloved Festival veterans and inspiring new talent. With music on the main stage all day, intimate workshops on the Elks Park stage in the middle of town, prestigious band and songwriting contests, late-night Nightgrass concerts at every indoor venue in town, and jam sessions throughout the night in condos and around campgrounds, this is a week of uncommon musical riches.

The Westword Music Showcase returns to the Golden Triangle on Saturday, June 24! 2016 marks the 16th anniversary of The Denver Post’s Underground Music Showcase, the biggest independent music festival in the Rocky Mountain region and the premier showcase for Denver’s incredible local music scene! Late every July the small mountain town of Lyons, Colorado becomes the center of the bluegrass universe as generations of legends and future-legends and Festivarians converge under the red rock cliffs of the St. Vrain River. Originally founded by Bill Monroe and members of the Colorado Bluegrass Music Society, today’s RockyGrass is known internationally as one of the great traditional bluegrass festivals.

The Warped Tour is a traveling rock festival that has toured the United States (including 3 or 4 stops in Canada) annually each summer since 1995. It is the largest traveling music festival in the United States, and the longest-running touring music festival in North America. The festival has been attributed to bringing unknown artists like Blink-182, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Paramore, MGK, Katy Perry, and Yelawolf to the spotlight!

Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is a free, three-day music festival held each August in historic Downtown Fort Collins. The annual festival is co-produced by the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association and Bohemian Nights. This free community music festival features 80+ Colorado bands, including headliner performances at the main stage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; seven stages of entertainment; more than 250 specialty, art and food booths; and a family-centered Kids’ Music Adventure and Kids’ World area.

The Labor Day Experience is an open air, dance oriented extravaganza of popular, R&B, rock, funk, blues, world, and soul music, taking place at Snowmass Town Park, with the spectacular Elk Mountain Range as a backdrop, catering to crowds in excess of 10,000 daily.

Telluride Blues & Brews takes place in the world-famous resort town of Telluride, Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Blues & Brews is a three-day celebration of blues, funk, jam bands, indie, rock, gospel and soul performances – accompanied by some of the best microbreweries in the country, a wide variety of food and craft vendors, children’s activities, late night shows, and much, much more. Although the Festival is only three days and three nights, once you get to Telluride, you won’t want to go home.
