Northern Colorado New Year’s Eve Events 2018

2019 is almost upon on us and there are many ways to ring in the New Year in Northern Colorado. We’ve rounded up some of the top ways to kiss 2018 goodbye. Whether you prefer a low-key night with the family or are looking for something a little more wild, there are plenty of fun events to choose from!

A New York NY’s Eve

When: December 31st | 6pm – 9pm

Where: The Cooking Studio | Fort Collins

Pretend you’re in New York to ring in 2019! In this class you’ll be celebrating with some New York favorites. You’ll also be learning lots of professional chef tips and tricks to make your cooking more professional. Come and learn a few favorite recipes while cooking a full meal to share!

Noon Year’s Eve Party

When: December 31st | 11:30 am – 12:30pm

Where: Louisville Public Library | Louisville

Families are invited to celebrate the New Year a little early with crafts, a balloon drop, and music. Registration is required, so be sure to register early!

NYE Extreme Rodeo Challenge

When: December 31st | 7:30pm

Where: Budweiser Events Center | Loveland

Ring in the New Year with the 13th annual New Year’s Eve Extreme Rodeo Challenge. Enjoy saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, and bullfighting along with mutton-bustin’. Nationally acclaimed bull riders will team up with a top freestyle bullfighter forming a team that will compete for the Extreme Rodeo Challenge Championship. The teams feature two bull riders, one bareback rider, one saddle bronc rider and a freestyle bullfighter.

Snow Much Fun

When: November 17th – January 28th

Where: Boulder’s Civic Area | Boulder

Grab a cup of hot cocoa and take a stroll through Boulder’s Civic Area to explore more than 275,000 LED lights on display. Warm up with seasonal treats from the Dushanbe Teahouse or Seeds Café. Discover enriching seasonal programs for all-ages at the Boulder Public Library. Visit the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art – free admission for children under the age of 12. Kids can visit Santa for free each Saturday at St. Nick on the Bricks at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Center. And engage in weekly themed walking tours of Boulder’s Civic Area.

Centerra New Year’s Eve Bash

When: December 31st | 8:00pm – 12:30am

Where: Chapungu Sculpture Park | Loveland

Ring in the New Year at Centerra amidst the twinkling glow of Winter Wonderlights! Enjoy a free community fireworks show at 8 p.m. followed by a fun interactive Silent Disco ticketed party at 8:30 p.m. till midnight on Chapungu’s Great Lawn. Don’t miss the ultimate NYE community experience by SoundDown when three DJs spin jams on Chapungu’s Great Lawn, under a heated tent, showcasing a Silent Disco Party and an epic Northern Colorado light show leading up to the midnight countdown.

New Year’s Eve Grand Gala 2019

When: December 31st | 8pm – 1am

Where: Hotel Boulderado | Boulder

Be a part of history as Hotel Boulderado celebrates their 110-year Anniversary during the New Year’s Eve Grand Gala. Join friends and family in the historic mezzanine & lobby under the sparkling stained-glass canopy. Enjoy an evening beginning with a cocktail hour and passed hors d’oeuvres before joining the party upstairs with a lavish buffet dinner. Guests will be serenaded by a history of musical favorites presented by the Mark Diamond Band, culminating in a countdown and glorious balloon drop at midnight! Revel in the timeless era of Hotel Boulderado as you ring in the New Year surrounded by glamour.

New Year’s Eve with Shakedown Street

When: December 31st | 8pm

Where: The Mishawaka Amphitheatre| Bellvue

One of the longest running Grateful Dead tribute bands in the world, Shakedown Street, makes its home in and around the Rocky Mountain region of North America. In the live music venues of the Rocky Mountains, there are only a few bands that are able to consistently draw large audiences. Shakedown Street accomplishes this year after year by embodying the Grateful Dead ethos of improvisation and discovery, while maintaining an intimacy and open repoire with its audience. Both VIP and GA Ticket price includes champagne toast at midnight. Prime Rib will be on special in the restaurant! 

Rat Pack New Year’s Eve Party

When: December 31st | 9pm – 1am

Where: Best Western Loveland Inn | Loveland

Ring in the New Year Rat Pack style! This fabulous Vegas-style party will include all you can eat Hors d’oeuvres and Desserts, DJ & Dancing, costume contests, casino-style gaming, and a midnight champagne toast.

The Burroughs – Superfly Moxi New Year’s Eve

When: December 31st | 8pm

Where: Moxi Theater | Greeley

Steeped in classic soul standards and outfitted with modern flair, The Burroughs are a nine-piece band with a powerhouse sound that has been electrifying audiences across Colorado and beyond.

Wild Game NYE Celebration w/ Joe Cool Band

When: December 31st | 8pm – 1am

Where: The Wild Game | Longmont

Ring in 2019 at The Wild Game with the Joe Cool Band! VIP Access tickets are only $35 and include a champagne toast at midnight, late night sweet treats, party favors, and live music by the Joe Cool Band! Our full menu and cash bar will also be available all night long! Bowling, arcade, pool tables, shuffleboard, cornhole, darts, foosball and ping pong will also be ready for action throughout the evening!
