Born in Indiana, however Colorado is my hometown!
I moved back and forth from Colorado to Indiana when I was younger. In Indiana, I loved playing with lightning bugs. It was simple and fun. Regardless if I was in Colorado or Indiana, we were always outside playing in the dirt!
Stacking firewood for my dad at his home in Conifer. I am pretty sure I worked all day for $1. However, I never complained and loved every bit of the earning power I had! My first W-2 position was when I was 14 and I worked the coffee counter at Mister Donut. Been working and in service ever since!
Hiking, skiing, eating and drinking with friends and family, snuggling with big dogs, weekend getaways to the mountains, volunteering, collecting vintage champagne.
Excitable, Happy, Witty, Passionate, Kind.
Attending Colorado Avalanche games.
Anywhere! Not a copout, but I love anything from dive bars, to swanky rooftops and casual patios – but I’m not a fan of any national chain. It’s about the company and conversation for me. I am a sucker for champagne and always appreciate a well-made French 75.
Monday is my favorite day of the week. I am sure the list is more exhaustive than this, but I love Mondays! I like the renewal and energy every new week brings. I would pick a Monday over a Friday any day of the week!
I am a serial volunteer. I am currently on the finance committee of both Community Shares of Colorado and Invest in Kids. I can also be seen getting my hands dirty and improving our very own Denver neighborhoods while volunteering for Extreme Community Makeover. Last, but not least, I spend time going door-to-door with the local chapter of the American Red Cross and install fire alarms in homes that may not have them, or they need repair. In addition, I am always doing my best to attend events, participate in silent auctions, and act as an ambassador to spread the word of many of our wonderful 501c3 organizations.
So sappy – sorry not sorry. But, it is my husband. He is incredibly smart, witty, can manage a team better than I’ve ever seen anyone do, never backs away from a challenge, is always trying to self-improve, always says yes to an adventure, and has been graciously willing to put up with me for the last 18 years.
Choosing to change my career after being in the same profession for 20 years. It was bold, daring, and I chose my own destiny. I am thrilled to be in real estate!
I don’t want to sound too cliché. Success to me mirrors happiness. If I am happy, I am successful. We didn’t have a lot of money growing up, I moved a lot, and did not have a large circle of friends. However, my dad always told me that we have a lot of love and that is more than what a lot of people may have. I have always held onto that message and have been a fairly upbeat and positive person, which has immensely impacted my success and therefore defined it for me. Although, if you ask my inner circle, they say I have 2% days. I can be a bit over-the-top, boisterous, and peppy 98% of the time, but they say I have those 2% days that they want to steer clear from me!
A national news personality based out of New York City. I love wearing suits, being in the know, always being on, working long hours, attending all the big events in town, reporting, discovering, sharing…the list goes on!
I aspire to do anything athletic. I’ve never been athletic and I think it would be really neat to pole vault, do fencing, or parkour. Anything really extreme would be fun if I am dreaming big! However, I am not currently pursuing any of the above.
The list is getting longer, as I love adventures! I slept in a tree house in the Amazon for 4 days with my husband. I was fairly certain after the first night I was going to have to charter a plane to get out of there. I stuck it out and it ended up being one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done.
Coco Chanel. She could rock a brand, build a legacy, overcome adversity and do it all in a little black dress with class. And, it’s just dinner!
I have a really crazy, convoluted, and unconventional family. We have a lot of love and laughs, however we are so disjointed, our only tradition is that we don’t have one single tradition! I wouldn’t have it any other way. However, I look forward to the little traditions my husband and I create with our dogs!
