Reasons We’re Thankful For Colorado

Thanksgiving is a time of year that allows us to look back on all that we have to be grateful for. We feel that because we live in Colorado we have more to be Thankful for than most! So we wanted to take some time and reflect on the reasons that we here at Kentwood are thankful for our incredible home state.

Reasons We’re Thankful For Colorado

“I am thankful for being able to experience all four seasons. Each season comes just as you begin to get tired of the heat or the cold. And each season brings with it great Colorado activities. With winter rapidly approaching our family gets to enjoy skiing in the mountains, which are just in our backyard.  Spring and summer bring warmer weather which means camping, biking, and swimming for our family. Fall is our favorite time of year as the leaves begin to change color and the Colorado landscape becomes a real-life painting. Driving through the mountains at this time of year is a must-do.” – Stacy Neir, Kentwood City Properties

“Being from Spain and having lived in a few different European countries, what I like about Colorado is the colors and scenery in some of the touristy places like Red Rocks and Gardens of the Gods. I’m also a city person and in Europe we have lots of bars and restaurants that offer outdoor patios or terraces where you can eat in a nice atmosphere, I’m grateful that Denver (whether CCN, Downtown or Highlands) has plenty of cool places like that with a similar atmosphere to Europe. I know many other American cities don’t have that so I’m really lucky to have landed in Denver… couldn’t do without dining out on those fabulous warm days specially in summer and early fall! ” – Yoldana Varela, Kentwood Cherry Creek
