Celebrating Colorado’s dynamic craft beer culture, the Skyline Beer Garden features close to 40,000 square feet of outdoor area with vast open air and tented seating.  Nestled in the heart of downtown, the Beer Garden offers a fun and comfortable environment with communal Oktoberfest-style picnic tables that can collectively seat more than 350 guests, a family-friendly game area with Ping Pong, 9-Hole Miniature Golf Course, and Cornhole, as well as live music on Fridays and Saturdays.  With a focus on Colorado and hand crafted brews, the Beer Garden features a thoughtful selection of 12 different brews on tap and serves up your favorite casual fare including locally-made brats, house-ground burgers, fresh salads and German pretzels with dipping sauces.

Sci-Fi Film Series: Arrival

National Poetry Slam Finals

The National Poetry Slam is the annual poetry slam championship tournament, wherein four-to five-person teams from all over North America gather to compete against each other for the national team title. The week-long festival is part championship tournament, part poetry summer camp, and part traveling exhibition. NPS is the largest team performance poetry event in the world. Teams from all over North America, and a few from other places, converge in a different city every summer for five days of poetry, revelry and competition.

Vikings: Beyond the Legend

The Square on 21st

The Square on 21st, a collaboration between the City and County of Denver and the Partnership, will establish a new park-like public space between Denver’s Ballpark and Arapahoe Square neighborhoods where residents and visitors can relax in the shade, play lawn games, sip early morning coffee, sample late-night eats, and enjoy activities for all ages (and dogs, too!) This pop-up park will transform a block of 21st Street between Larimer and Lawrence as a way to envision an underused public street as a Downtown oasis.

Cinderella: The Slipper and the Rose

When they met in the mid-1990s, Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton and Rob Garza instantly bonded over their shared passion for bossa nova. Dedicating their 1996 debut ‘Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi’ to bossa nova pioneer Antonio Carlos Jobim, the Washington, D.C.-based duo have spent nearly two decades creating boundary-warping, complexly crafted electronic music partly inspired by bossa nova’s intricate rhythms and lush textures.

Lynard Skynard

The legacy began some 41 years ago in Jacksonville, Florida, and halted for a decade by the 1977 plane crash that killed three band members, including Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines. Revolution Radio is Green Day’s first album since Armstrong went to rehab in 2012 for prescription-pill addiction, which forced the band to postpone dozens of tour dates in the wake of their trio of albums released that same year, ¡Uno!¡Dos! and ¡Tre! Armstrong recovered, but the band was soon sidetracked by more adversity. In 2014, bassist Mike Dirnt’s wife, Brittney, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Not long after, touring guitarist Jason White found out he had tonsil cancer. Talk of a follow up to ¡Uno!¡Dos! and ¡Tre! stopped. Thankfully, by late 2015, both White and Brittney Dirnt were in remission, and Green Day began work on a new LP at their studio in Oakland, producing themselves for the first time since 2000’s Warning.

Slightly Stoopid, the Ocean Beach, California based group led by co-founders and multi-instrumentalists Kyle McDonald and Miles Doughty, along with drummer Ryan “Rymo” Moran; percussionist Oguer “OG” Ocon; saxophonist Daniel “Dela” Delacruz; keyboardist Paul Wolstencroft; trumpet and trombone player Andy Geib; plus special guest and “unofficial 8th member” Karl Denson (The Rolling Stones/Greyboy Allstars) on saxophone unveiled their latest musical experiment.
