Denver Margaritas | Machete

SOL Cocina

Where: 200 North Columbine Street, Unit 110

Why We Love It:

“My favorite margarita is at SOL Cocina in Cherry Creek. They have an organic “skinny” version that’s made with organic tequila, fresh lime juice, agave, and a splash of soda. It’s incredible and tastes so fresh! If there is such a thing as a healthy margarita, then this is it. They also have other interesting margaritas with watermelon and even pumpkin spice. Awesome atmosphere and great staff!” – Jamie Harris, Kentwood City Properties

Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey

Where: 1514 York Street3300 West 32nd Avenue

Why We Love It:

“The Pinche Paloma is my favorite and I can’t imagine brunch without one of these in hand! They also turn a salt rim into a sophisticated ‘salt lick’, which I’ve now adopted the style at home, mmm!” – Amanda Fein, Kentwood Cherry Creek

Los Chingones

Where: 2463 Larimer Street & 4959 South Newport Street

Why We Love It:

“It’s so tough to make a “Skinny Margarita” that tastes good, but Los Chingones has mastered the recipe. We have had company, family, and personal events at the DTC location and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Surrounded by the new Town Center, Los Chingones has been a great addition to the food and entertainment canvas of the DTC!” – Thomas Cryer, Kentwood DTC

“Los Chingones located in the RiNo neighborhood at 25th and Larimer. If I can’t decide between a beer or a margarita, I choose both, the Beergarita, an 8 oz. Corona flipped into a house marg. It’s the perfect way to get the best of both worlds. This Troy Guard Mexican concept is not to miss and while they don’t claim to be “authentic” they do claim to be delicious.” – Andrew Gonzales, Kentwood City Properties

Govnr’s Park Tavern

Where: 672 Logan Street

Why We Love It:

“The absolute best margarita in town! I’ve heard rumor that apple juice is their secret ingredient. Whether that’s true or not, they aren’t as bitter and sour as your average margarita, you can’t beat a Margarita from Govnr’s Park.” – Ashley Rosenberg, Kentwood Marketing Director

Adelita’s

Where: 1294 South Broadway

Why We Love It:

“The one and only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas has, hands down, the best ever in the whole wide world :) But when we are not there, Adelita’s more than satisfies. You enter through a velvet curtain to find yourself enjoying the best margaritas and homemade chips and salsa. Delicious!” – Christy Andrisen, Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek

Comida

Where: 3350 Brighton Blvd

Why We Love It:

“Comida has a watermelon jalapeno-margarita that blends the perfect amount of sweet with spicy. Be careful though because these drinks will knock you off your feet!” – Stacy Neir, Kentwood City Properties

El Camino Community Tavern

Where: 3628 West 32nd Avenue

Why We Love It:

“I love El Camino for so many reasons, but their margaritas are the number one thing that keep me coming back for more! They make six different kinds of infused margs, my favorite being the pineapple-jalapeno. If you like your margaritas to have a little kick, definitely give it a try. The atmosphere and artwork are one-of-a-kind, and the food will not disappoint (the queso is drool worthy!). This little spot should be on any dedicated foodie’s bucket list.” – Mara Calomino, Social Media Coordinator
